Transformed through Troubles

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Is something or someone causes you distress, anxious and disturbed? Is there something makes you worried and upset? Is you heart troubled?

There are many reasons and circumstance which makes us feel uneasy and take away our peace. According to psychology.com, worrying can cause us tension, poor sleep,

iritability, fatigue, problems in concentrating and general unhappiness.

In 1 John 16:33, Jesus warned us that we would have problems in the world.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In life, problems are inevitable, circumstances which we can't avoid to cross in our path. Some may be big and others are just small issues but all are significant on our spiritual growth, and these troubles we are facing makes us closer to God. Because it is during our sufferings and sleepless nights that we learn and experience to pray the very genuine prayer we could ever tell to God.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. - Psalm 34:18

Everything that happens has a significance to our lives, which transforms us to someone which God wants us to be. There are certain lessons which we can learn only through troubles and hard times. We just have to fully trust God's strength and power to work over us and know that he is in control.

Let us put our confidence to the one who walks on troubled water, to the one who rescued you from death, to the one who overcome the world and to the one who knows you even more than how you know yourself. If he has done great things, believe with confidence that he can also do it again to your life. If you only surrender to his grace,love and mercy, you'll find yourself at rest in his presence and transformed in every troubles knowing that he got you in every step of the way.

We have to see opportunities behind every obstacles, experience in every circumstances and testimonies in every trials. Lessons that we learn from troubles are part of the growth process, which take us in every corner of ourselves, and all these things leads us to develop a character that will last forever which bring glory to our father in heaven.
